Auto stocks, including Bajaj Auto, Mahindra & Mahindra, Escorts Kubota, and SML Mahindra, experienced declines of up to 7.5% after releasing their September sales figures on Thursday, October 1. Bajaj Auto shares led the losses, falling 6%.
