BAE Systems wins U.S. Space Force contract for satellite communications terminals
BAE Systems announced a U.S. Space Force contract on Oct. 15, 2026, to design and demonstrate ultra-compact radio-frequency satellite communications terminals. The space-based data layer terminals will use space-hardened software-defined radios, supporting operations from low Earth orbit to geosynchronous Earth orbit.
