Axos Bank acquires $1.9 billion of IRA deposits from Capital One
Axos Bank completed the acquisition of about $1.9 billion of IRA deposits from Capital One on Sept. 21, 2026. The transaction covered IRA deposits held in savings and certificate of deposit accounts. Axos Bank received cash equal to the deposit balance, net of a negotiated premium.
