Axia Energia expands bird protection program across northeastern Brazil
AXIA Energia will expand its bird-protection project to other transmission assets in northeastern Brazil to help maintain grid reliability. The 2024 pilot covered 20 towers on Alagoas' 230-kV Rio Largo II—Arapiraca III transmission line, with half receiving interventions. Measures included perch deterrents and artifici
