Avio USA Starts First U.S. Solid Rocket Motor Facility in Virginia
Avio USA has broken ground on its first U.S. manufacturing facility, a 900,000-square-foot solid rocket motor plant in Hurt, Virginia. The facility aims to enhance domestic capacity for U.S. missile and munitions production and is expected to create over 1,000 jobs.
