Australian shares climb on bank, miner gains; tech surges
Australian shares edged higher on Tuesday, led by gains in banks and miners, while technology stocks surged nearly 4% in their best session since late August. The S&P/ASX 200 index rose 0.3% to 8,759.60, with the resources sub-index up 0.4% and financials up 0.2%.
