Australia softens east coast gas reservation rule for LNG exporters to start in 2028
Australia relaxed a proposed rule that would have forced energy exporters to reserve a fixed 20% of natural gas for the east coast market. Instead, exporters must reserve up to a fifth of production, with the start delayed to 2028, Energy Minister Chris Bowen said.
