Atlas Salt said bench-scale magnetic separation reduced iron oxide in Black Bay nepheline syenite to 0.01%-0.03% from 2.84%, with overall mass recovery of 87.7% and an optimized dry circuit holding 0.03% Fe2O3 at 90% stage recovery.
