Asian Stocks Rebound; Jakarta Falls on Downgrade Fears
Japan’s Nikkei 225 rose 1.4%, South Korea’s Kospi gained 2.1%, Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 advanced around 1.0%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng added 0.5% and mainland China’s Shanghai Composite rose 0.2%. The Nikkei and Kospi recovered some of the previous session’s losses.
