Artiva Halts Cell Therapy After Two Patient Deaths, Cuts Workforce 94%
Artiva Biotherapeutics said it would halt development of its experimental cell therapy for certain autoimmune conditions after two deaths among patients being tested on the treatment. Its shares fell 30% in premarket trading.
