American Eagle Q2 beat reported as weaker than it appeared
American Eagle shares fell to their lowest level in nearly a year as investors looked past a second-quarter top- and bottom-line beat boosted by tariff refunds and interest income. The quarter included a 9.4% sales increase and a 75% increase in per-share profits.
