Alstom SA has signed an agreement with Vingroup to advance Vietnam's urban rail ambitions, covering up to 83 five-car Metropolis trainsets combined with a technology license agreement.

Vingroup, Alstom sign deal for Hanoi rail network tech transfer
Vingroup and Alstom have signed a contract for rolling stock and a Technology License Agreement under which Alstom will transfer train manufacturing and assembly technology to Vietnam. Alstom will supply 200 Metropolis trainsets for Hanoi's urban rail projects.
