AMD shares up 1.5% premarket on plans for chip supply boost
Advanced Micro Devices shares gained 1.5% to $641.10 in premarket trading after CEO Lisa Su said the company plans to substantially increase chip supply in 2027 to meet booming AI demand. AMD is also working with memory chipmakers to secure sufficient supplies.
