Imperial Metals Corporation said the definitive feasibility study for the Red Chris Block Cave project is close to completion. The company now expects to make a full funds investment decision in early 2027. In the third quarter of 2026, consolidated production totaled 8.535 million pounds of copper and 11648 ounces of gold. The figures reflect Imperial’s 30% interest in the Red Chris mine and 100% interest in the Mount Polley mine.

Copper and gold output remain on track to meet the company’s 2026 full-year guidance of 79—87 million pounds of copper and 87500—96500 ounces of gold. On a 100% ownership basis, Red Chris produced 14.771 million pounds of copper and 12391 ounces of gold during the quarter. Mount Polley produced 4.104 million pounds of copper and 7931 ounces of gold, with lower metal grades and recovery than in the same period of 2025.
