DAX Down for 2nd Day
Frankfurt's DAX 40 fell 0.9% at around 25,100, its lowest since October 9, extending the previous session's losses, pressured by tech and industrials. Market sentiment remained weak across European markets amid rising oil prices and ongoing jitters over social unrest and political instability in France. Renewed pressure on AI-related stocks added to the unease, with investors increasingly questioning the sector’s lofty valuations. Siemens, Infineon Technologies, Hochtief and Siemens Energy ranked among the worst performers, with losses ranging between 2.5% and 3.7%.
