Europe Gasoline/Naphtha — Gasoline refining margins dip

LONDON, Oct 16 (Reuters) — Northwest European gasoline refining margins fell more than $15 to their lowest since mid-June to $26.56 a barrel on Friday as oil prices jumped close to $110 a barrel O/R. In the Argus window, 9,000 metric tons of Eurobob E5 barges traded, with Equinor, Exxon and Aramco selling to TotalEnergies, Gunvor and MB Energy. Shell also sold one cargo to TotalEnergies and two to Trafigura in the Platts window. Shell and Exxon sold 8,000 tons of Eurobob E10 barges to Varo and BP. Formosa Petrochemical, among Asia's largest fuel exporters, is reducing crude oil processing at its refinery in Mailiao, Taiwan, as it conducts maintenance at several units, the company's president said. Meanwhile Asian gasoline margins nearly halved on Friday from a record high hit at the beginning of the month, as Chinese refiners resumed fuel exports, easing immediate supply concerns, traders and analysts said. Trade Bid Offer Prev.
