China Export Rebate Cut May Cost NEV Makers 4,000–6,000 Yuan per Vehicle

Morningstar analyst Vincent Sun estimates the cut will cost manufacturers 4,000 to 6,000 yuan per vehicle. The policy takes effect April 1, 2027, and automakers may accelerate shipments in late 2026 and the first quarter of 2027.
