CCPA Fines Britannia Rs 1 Lakh Over Whole Wheat Bread Claim

The Central Consumer Protection Authority fined Britannia Industries Rs 1 lakh over misleading advertisements and unfair trade practices concerning its “100% Whole Wheat Bread” product. The authority also directed the company to discontinue the advertisements.
