Philippines plans national oil reserve by end-2027
The Philippines’ energy minister said the country plans to create a national oil reserve by end-2027 and is studying a regional stockpiling location with Japanese agencies.
The Philippines plans to create a national oil reserve by the end of 2027, Energy Secretary Sharon Garin said on Thursday. The country is also working with Japanese agencies to study the feasibility of establishing a regional stockpiling site in the Philippines, Garin said.
