Wittington Investments agrees to buy Boots for $8.9 billion
Wittington Investments, backed by the Weston family, reached a definitive agreement to acquire Boots from Sycamore Partners for $8.9 billion including debt. The deal covers Boots retail operations in the U.K. and Ireland and related brands/businesses, with other Boots interests retained by Sycamore in partnership with Stefano Pessina’s family.
