Black Hills Corp. to Build $1.8B Gas Plant for Google Data Center

Black Hills Corp. has signed agreements to supply Google's planned Cheyenne data center through 2048. The company plans to invest $1.8 billion for 564 MW of new gas generation capacity, expected to be operational between 2027 and 2029. This project is projected to generate approximately $150 million in net income in 2030 and about $2.4 billion in unlevered free cash flow, net of capital expenditures.
