Power plants face critical coal stocks as demand outstrips supply
Eighty-one thermal power plants relying on domestic coal are running on critical stock levels, up from 73 last week, as consumption to meet electricity demand outpaces supply. The Coal Ministry reported that 1.75 million tonnes of coal were made available.
