Freshworks Inc to join S&P SmallCap 600 index; shares gain

Freshworks Inc shares rose 4.3% to $13.79 in premarket trading ahead of its inclusion in the S&P SmallCap 600 index, effective Oct. 8. The software development firm will replace BioLife Solutions. Freshworks has a market capitalization of $3.45 billion.
