Mudajaya wins court case against CCC, awarded RM25,000 costs
Malaysia's Mudajaya Group Berhad announced its unit MCB won applications to dismiss China Communication Construction (ECRL) Sdn Bhd's (CCC) attempts to set aside and stay an adjudication decision. The High Court also awarded MCB RM25,000 in costs.

The Board of Directors of Mudajaya wishes to announce that on 6 October 2026, CCC's applications to set aside and stay the Adjudication Decision dated 31 May 2026 were dismissed by the High Court, and the High Court allowed MCB's application to enforce the Adjudication Costs as if it is a Judgment or Order of the High Court. 00. The Company further wishes to update that the arbitration proceeding is still at its early stage, and parties are in the process of appointing an Arbitrator.
The Company will continue to make the necessary announcements, to the extent needed to comply with its disclosure obligations under the relevant listing rules of Bursa Malaysia, should there be any material developments in relation to this matter and will modify and/or update its disclosures as appropriate.
