Southern Natural Gas imposed operational flow orders restricting flows on multiple segments including 30 (ONWARD), 50 (PICKENS EAST), 340 (WHITE CASTLE), 380 (SNG - SESH), 400 (GWINVILLE), 680 (ALBANY), and QUINCY LINE due to exceeding operating capacity.
Southern Natural Gas said for gas day Tuesday, October 06, 2026, and until further notice it has restricted flows on multiple segments. The notice, posted 10/5/2026 and effective 10/05/2026 through 10/06/2026, lists no operational flow orders and says segment 30 (ONWARD), 50 (PICKENS EAST) BH, 340 (WHITE CASTLE), 380 (SNG — SESH), 400 (GWINVILLE), 680 (ALBANY) and 700 (QUINCY LINE) are subject to restrictions for exceeding operating capacity. The company said reductions apply into OP Services or through OP Services, depending on the segment, and added that linepack payback is due.
Southern Natural Gas said incremental interruptible storage (ISS) injections are not allowed under Notice # 711727. The notice covers Type 3 / 4 OFO Probability and Type 6 OFO Probability for October 06, 2026. Southern Natural Gas listed the probability as UL for Short and UL for Long imbalances.
