US soybeans firm, corn mixed on harvest outlook, Black Sea disruptions
US soybean futures firmed on Monday in a technical bounce after three sessions of losses and as a recent stretch of excessive rain in the Midwest sparked concerns about crop quality. Corn futures were narrowly mixed as harvesting of the US crop was due to accelerate with mostly clear weather forecast for the Midwest over the coming week. Wheat futures advanced on supply worries as the Russia-Ukraine war disrupted shipments from the two global suppliers.
