Transocean says Valaris deal lifts backlog to ~$12.3B
Transocean said the Valaris deal boosts its backlog to roughly $12.3B, accelerates deleveraging, and is expected to generate over $200M in transaction-related cost synergies. It also said a ~170-day, two-well 2027 Equatorial Guinea contract for drillship Deepwater Conqueror adds about $80M to backlog.
