Publicis Groupe Set to Report 'Solid' H1 Results, Berenberg Says
Berenberg expects Publicis Groupe (PUB.PA) to report a "solid set of numbers" at the French advertising and communications group's first-half results on Thursday. "We expect a solid and largely in-line print, with softer trends at Sapient offset by continued strength in Media, supported by prior business wins. With topline expectations already relatively well anchored, investor focus is likely to be on full-year guidance, net new business momentum and commentary around the pending LiveRamp acquisition," according to the research firm's media advertising sector-focused note published Monday. Against this backdrop, Berenberg raised its EBIT and EPS estimates for 2026 through 2028. Sales projections were also revised across the three-year period, with 2026 and 2027 forecasts lifted, while that of 2028 was nudged down. The stock's buy rating, with a price target of 118 euros, was kept. "While some investors remain cautious on the agency sector as a whole, Publicis is widely seen as the highest-quality way to gain exposure," analysts wrote.
