ECB Bancorp, Inc. reported its financial results for the third quarter of 2026, with revenue reaching $11.09 million compared to $8.8 million in the year-earlier quarter. Net income rose to $3.39 million from $2.44 million, resulting in diluted earnings per share of $0.40, up from $0.29 in the prior year. The company's net interest margin expanded by 37 basis points to 2.56%.
Additionally, gross loans grew 5.6% to $1.46 billion, and total deposits increased 6.9% to $1.21 billion since December 31, 2025. Management noted that higher loan balances and yields, alongside a lower cost of interest-bearing deposits, contributed to the improved performance, though these gains were partially offset by increased noninterest expenses related to new branch staffing and marketing initiatives.
