UK volume leaders were Lloyds Banking Group down 0.47 percent, Barclays down 2.46 percent, BP down 0.73 percent, Shell down 0.3 percent and HSBC down 0.82 percent. continental European volume leaders were Deutsche Telekom down 2.09 percent, UBS down 3.37 percent, Novartis down 0.1 percent, Nestle up 1.55 percent and SAP up 0.68 percent.
