Ingredion Reports Third-Quarter Results, Cuts 2026 EPS Guidance
Ingredion reported third-quarter results below expectations, citing a slower recovery at its Argo facility, higher input costs and softer demand. It now expects 2026 reported diluted EPS of $8.04–$8.49 and adjusted diluted EPS of $9.25–$9.70.
Ingredion Incorporated reported its third-quarter 2026 results, noting that performance fell short of expectations due to a slower-than-anticipated financial recovery at its Argo facility, alongside incremental pressure from higher input costs and consumer softness. While production at Argo remained stable for a second consecutive quarter and inventories were largely rebuilt, the company reported that high manufacturing costs and softer food and beverage demand impacted profitable volume growth. The company adjusted its full-year 2026 guidance, now expecting reported diluted EPS in the range of $8.04 to $8.49 and adjusted diluted EPS in the range of $9.25 to $9.70.
Despite the overall challenges, the Texture & Healthful Solutions segment achieved its tenth consecutive quarter of net sales volume growth, supported by global demand for clean label products.
