Gold Fields Reports Q3 Production of 605,000 Ounces, Backs Guidance
Gold Fields' attributable gold-equivalent production fell 3% year on year to 605,000 ounces. All-in sustaining costs rose 26% to $1,965 per ounce, while the miner said it remains on track for the upper end of its 2.4 million-to-2.6 million-ounce full-year production guidance.
Gold Fields announced its third-quarter 2026 results, reporting attributable gold-equivalent production of 605,000 ounces, a 3% decrease year-on-year. All-in sustaining costs rose 26% to $1,965/oz, driven by higher gold price-linked royalties, stronger producer country currencies, and increased input costs. Despite these pressures, the company remains on track to meet the upper end of its full-year production guidance of 2.4 million to 2.6 million ounces. Net debt increased to $981 million by the end of September, following interim dividend payments and share buybacks.
The company also noted it remains open to engagement with Northern Star Resources regarding potential portfolio growth, though no certainty of further talks exists.
