Quoin Pharmaceuticals Says US FDA Clears Phase 2 Trial of QRX003 in Peeling Skin Syndrome
Quoin Pharmaceuticals (QNRX) said Thursday the US Food and Drug Administration has cleared its planned phase 2 clinical trial of QRX003 to potentially treat peeling skin syndrome. The company said it expects to initiate the study in H2 and plans to enroll six to eight pediatric and adult patients in the US and Europe. Quoin said the regulator did not raise any safety concerns over the study design and duration of dosing. Shares of Quoin were down more than 3% in early Thursday trading.
