Rheinmetall Cuts 2026 Sales and Operating-Margin Guidance
Rheinmetall lowered its 2026 sales outlook and operating-margin forecast. It cited anticipated delays to the Arminius Boxer vehicle project and acceptance of artillery ammunition orders. Third-quarter revenue rose nearly a third and operating profit increased 62%; full results are due Thursday morning.
Rheinmetall has revised its 2026 annual guidance, now expecting sales of approximately 13.2 billion euros, down from its previous range of 13.7 billion to 14.2 billion euros. The company also lowered its operating margin forecast to about 18.5%, compared to a prior target of around 19%. Management attributed these adjustments to anticipated delays in the 'Arminius' Boxer combat vehicle project and in the acceptance of artillery ammunition orders. Despite these procurement challenges, the company reported strong third-quarter performance, with revenue increasing by nearly a third to 3.15 billion euros and operating profit rising 62% to 553 million euros.
Full financial results for the quarter are scheduled for release on Thursday morning.
