Fortuna Mining's Q2 Gold Equivalent Production Slightly Up YoY
Fortuna Mining (FVI.TO) produced 72,217 gold equivalent ounces in the second quarter, slightly increasing from 71,229 gold equivalent ounces produced a year ago, the company said Thursday. The second-quarter output was broadly in line with first-quarter production of 72,872 gold equivalent ounces, Fortuna said. The miner's first-half output reached 145,089 gold equivalent ounces, putting the company on track to achieve its 2026 annual guidance of 281,000 to 305,000 gold equivalent ounces. Meanwhile, Fortuna said it returned US$80.2 million to shareholders during the second quarter by repurchasing 8.6 million common shares at US$9.32 per share under its normal course issuer bid.
