The FTSE 100 Index Closes 1.88% Higher

The FTSE 100 Index went up by 200 points or 1.88 percent on Wednesday to close at 10838 points. The rise was led by Fresnillo (7.00%), Marks & Spencer (6.71%) and Smith & Nephew (6.67%).
