Lundin Gold's Q2 Gold Production Falls YoY, On Track to Achieve 2026 Guidance

Lundin Gold (LUG.TO) reported second-quarter gold production of 118,994 ounces from the Fruta del Norte gold mine in Ecuador, down from 139,433 ounces in the year-ago period. The mill processed 500,143 tonnes of ore, up from 460,820 tonnes in the year-ago period, the company said Thursday. Lundin Gold is on track to achieve 2026 production guidance of 475,000 to 525,000 ounces. "Second quarter production of 118,994 ounces of gold, in what was planned to be the weakest quarter of the year, emphasizes the strength of our operations," said Lundin Gold CEO Jamie Beck.
