Rorze's Profit Surges 56% in Fiscal First Q1
Rorze's (TYO:6323) profit attributable to owners of the parent soared 56% to 8.21 billion yen for the fiscal first quarter from 5.26 billion yen a year earlier. The semiconductor automation supplier's earnings per share increased to 47.34 yen from 29.90 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday. Net sales jumped nearly 13% to 37.2 billion yen for the three months ended May 31 from 33.1 billion yen in the prior-year period. For the fiscal year ending Feb. 28, 2027, the company expects attributable profit of 27.8 billion yen, basic EPS of 159.62 yen and net sales of 159 billion yen. Rorze plans to pay a year-end dividend of 20 yen per share for the current year, which is higher than the 17 yen per share paid in the year-ago period.
