Texas Instruments Acquisition of Silicon Laboratories Subject to Singapore Public Input

Texas Instruments' (TXN) proposed acquisition of Silicon Laboratories (SLAB) is subject to public feedback as requested by the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore, the regulator said Thursday. The Commission accepted a joint application from the companies last week and is currently assessing whether the merger could reduce competition within Singapore. The closing date for public input is July 22, the regulator said.
