Tesla Model Y Dominates According to data collected by Yiche on Thursday, the Tesla Model Y sold 38,654 units in China in June, making it the best-selling model across all propulsion options, including ICE, EVs, and plug-in hybrids.
The Model Y was also the second-best-selling model in the country in May this year, according to Yiche rankings, as well as being the best-selling car during March 2026 when it sold 39,827 units.

Tesla’s Delivery Beat Tesla recently shared its second-quarter 2026 delivery figures, which largely exceeded Wall Street expectations as the automaker delivered over 480,000 units during Q2.
However, Tesla’s stock tumbled following the delivery beat, which investor Gary Black of The Future Fund LLC attributed to the Iran war-driven gas price volatility.
Tesla also unveiled the U.S.-spec Model Y L recently, priced at $61,990.
The EV giant will offer a free 12-month subscription for Supervised Full Self-Driving (FSD) with the Launch Series, with deliveries expected to begin around September this year.
According to Edge Rankings, Tesla offers excellent Growth and Momentum, while also offering satisfactory Quality.
The stock also offers a favorable price trend in the Medium term.
Price Action: Tesla shares were down 0.05% at $393.87 during the after-hours session on Wednesday.
