The Nikkei 225 Index Closes 1.80% Lower

The Nikkei 225 Index fell 1136 points or 1.80 percent on Wednesday to close at 61945 points. Leading the losses are Mitsui Chemicals (-10.79%), Murata Manufacturing (-9.84%) and Taiyo Yuden (-9.01%).
