ADB Maintains Thailand 2026 GDP Growth Outlook, Lifts Inflation Forecast

The Asian Development Bank maintained its Thailand economic growth forecast for 2026 while raising the inflation outlook, according to its Asian Development Outlook update released late Wednesday. The ADB expects Thailand's economy to expand 1.8% in 2026, unchanged from its April forecast. For 2027, the bank also kept its real GDP growth projection at 2%. The ADB now expects Thailand's inflation to increase 2.9% in 2026, compared with a 0.1% contraction in 2025. The latest forecast is significantly higher than its 1.3% projection in April.
