Yuan Falls More Than 270 Points to Over-One-Week Low

The yuan fell more than 270 points in early trading to a low not seen in over a week. The PBOC raised the foreign-exchange reserve requirement ratio, while the midpoint fixing was weaker than Reuters’ forecast by about 660 points.
