U.S. Treasury Expects to Borrow $618 Billion This Quarter

The Treasury expects $618 billion in privately held net marketable borrowing this quarter, $10 billion less than announced in August. It cited a higher-than-assumed starting cash balance, partly offset by lower projected net cash flows.
