Parker-Hannifin Gets EU Approval for Filtration Group Acquisition

Parker-Hannifin (PH) has received approval from the European Commission for the acquisition of Filtration Group, the regulator said Tuesday. The regulator said it has cleared the transaction under the EU Merger Regulation following a simplified merger review procedure. The transaction, which relates primarily to filtration and separation products, would not raise competition concerns due to the limited market positions from the proposed transaction, the Commission said.
