Orezone Gold Issues 2026 Guidance for Canada Gold Mine
Orezone Gold (ASX:ORE) issued 2026 operating guidance for its newly acquired Casa Berardi gold mine, forecasting production of 62,000 to 67,000 ounces of gold at all-in sustaining costs of $2,600 to $2,800 per ounce for the period March 25 to Dec. 31, according to a late Tuesday statement by the company. Production is expected to be lowest in the third quarter because of waste stripping at the F160 pit and the processing of lower-grade stockpiles before recovering in the fourth quarter, as higher-grade open-pit ore is fed to the mill. The company plans to invest $37 million to $39 million in sustaining capital and $5 million to $6 million in growth capital while undertaking 58,000 meters of diamond drilling focused on resource conversion, orebody expansion, and near-mine exploration. The company expects to release an updated life-of-mine plan for the Casa Berardi mine in September.
