Accenture Signs $228 Million NATO Digital Infrastructure Contract

Accenture (ACN) said Tuesday it signed a contract worth about 200 million euros ($228.5 million) with the NATO Communications and Information Agency, or NCIA, to deliver the Protected Business Network program over the next seven years in collaboration with Leonardo. Accenture will design, implement and operate the core platform across an NCIA-provided multi-cloud environment, supporting the deployment and long-term adoption of secure cloud services across the Alliance. The agreement marks the first implementation phase of one of NATO's largest digital transformation programs, the company said. Shares of Accenture were up more than 4% in Tuesday afternoon trading.
