Orascom Construction, OCI Global Extend Long-stop Date for Planned Merger
Engineering and construction contractor Orascom Construction (ADX:ORAS) said Tuesday the long-stop date for its proposed combination with Dutch chemicals company OCI Global (OCI.AS) was extended to Dec. 30. The extension allows OCI to fulfill certain conditions related to the deal. Completion of the process is expected in the fourth quarter. Separately, Orascom Construction noted NNS Group's NNS Holding (Cyprus)'s plan to proceed with a voluntary all-cash public offer for OCI at 4.10 euros per share after submitting its draft offer memorandum to the Dutch Authority for Financial Markets for approval.
