Wrap Technologies Launches WrapShield Platform, Invests in Frenel Imaging

Wrap Technologies (WRAP) said Tuesday it launched WrapShield, an AI-enabled defense and public safety platform that integrates threat detection, decision support and response capabilities. The company also said it invested in Israel-based Frenel Imaging and obtained exclusive US and NATO rights to Frenel's TPiCore thermal-polarimetric imaging technology for use in WrapShield. Financial terms of the investment were not provided. Wrap Technologies shares were down more than 6% in Tuesday trading. Price: $1.57, Change: $-0.11, Percent Change: -6.55%
