Spring Valley Acquisition III Shareholders Approve General Fusion Merger
Spring Valley Acquisition Corp. III (SVAC) said Monday its investors approved a previously announced business combination with General Fusion (GFUZ). Backers of the clean energy developer also endorsed the agreement, with the transaction projected to take place around Friday, the company said. Spring Valley will rebrand as General Fusion Group and intends to list its stock and warrants on the Nasdaq under the symbols GFUZ and GFUZW, it said. General Fusion focuses on developing commercial fusion power systems to generate cheaper electricity, Spring Valley Acquisition said.
